    Hello @newkeys

I just checked this on my own testing environment and there is only one way that was possible for me. For me it worked doing this on the page: WooCommerce > Settings > Payments
And then turning off the options:
    – Checkout: Enable buttons on Checkout
    – Single Product Page: Enable buttons on Checkout
    – Cart: Enable buttons on Checkout
    – Mini Cart: Enable buttons on Checkout
Only when they were all disabled, the PayPal button disappeared on the product page, but this is like having the entire plugin disabled.
Thus, you are right that it does currently not work for disabling it only on the product page.

Can you open a ticket with us for checking this option with our developers?
Here you can find how to create a ticket with Inpsyde: https://paypal.inpsyde.com/docs/how-to-request-support-via-widget-on-the-website/

Thank you for pointing this out to us.

    Hello @newkeys

after looking a bit further in our developers’ backlog I see we have this issue already logged. The problem is caused by some relationship between the page options:

When I have the PayPal button enabled on the Mini-Cart and the Product page and then uncheck the button on the product page, it will still be displayed in both places.
Only after unchecking the PayPal button for both the Mini-Cart and Product page, the button disappears on the product page.
The same happens to the button in the mini cart:
It will only be hidden when both Mini-Cart and product page has the button disabled.

So we have this in our backlog and will take care of it. However, since this is not affecting a critical function it does not have the highest priority, so we will have to wait and see when this will be added to a future release. If you open a ticket (as suggested earlier) we can link yours to this developer’s story and keep you up to date on the progress. Marking this thread as resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
