    Hello,

When I manually create an invoice for a customer/client. On the customer payment page, it makes them input their email address that’s associated with the invoice to view and then pay the invoice. Is there a way we can disable this feature so that when the user clicks on the direct link the pay for the invoice, that it does NOT require them to input their email address?

This seems to pose an extra step and I’ve had some users confused by this. I also have clients who I may invoice them through an email address but then they will send this link to the part of their company that handles these payments and then even they get confused on what to put here. Here’s a screenshot of the field/checkout area that I’m talking about:

    Please advise.

  • Hi there @dcteamdevs ??

Welcome to WooCommerce Support. I’d be happy to help you with this.

Just to clarify, what version of the WooCommerce plugin is currently active on the site.

As a first step, could you make sure it is updated to version 8.2.1 (directly linked here), and see if the issue persists, or otherwise?

Just to be sure, are you creating the invoices within the WooCommerce installation, or otherwise? If within, and given that invoices are not part of the core WooCommerce functionality, did you already have a chance to reach out to the invoice functionality’s support channel about this, or otherwise?

    Thank you.
