• Resolved ext237

After clicking to select “Disable FAQ feature and button on Start Menu”, the FAQ section still shows up. Even after clearing cache/cookies/browser cache/etc. Removing all FAQ items doesn’t resolve it either, the “FAQ” button still shows up.

Please share the page link where we can review the issue.

It seems alright on our end. It could also be a server-side, CDN, or plugin caching.

    Thanks

Did not hear back from you. However, If the FAQ button is showing in “Active Menu” area then please remove the FAQ button from Active Menu area. To remove a menu item from Active Menu simple drag the menu item and drop it to Available Menu.

Please note that, After making changes in the settings, please clear browser cache and cookies before reloading the page or open a new Incognito window (Ctrl+Shit+N in chrome).

    Thanks

Unfortunately, due to several reasons, we stopped using this plugin for this site.

We build several sites a year and maintain for other clients, and “bots” have become a topic recently. If you can fix the “FAQ” issue and other issues, we will be back. If the FAQ setting is disabled, it shouldn’t appear.

During development, we don’t use our CDN or cache and dump browser cache when I encounter those kinds of issues. It did not resolve this problem. If you are using your own cache system, you may consider adding a “development”/”debug” checkbox, allowing people to bypass your cache while developing their bot.

We released a new version with this feature.
    Truly appreciate your feedback.

    Thanks
