Disable featured image setting

Hi there,

I really like this theme and I’m testing the theme currently.

I have a question around switching off the featured image on a single post.

Within the Single Page Setting, I’ve disabled the setting ‘Enable Featured Image on Single Posts’. Nothing seems to be happening with this setting as the featured image still displays on the individual post. On the individual post, I’ve added the image to the Featured Image section. Am I doing something wrong with the post or is the setting not working for some reason?

Fyi my featured images are too large for their post pages currently so I would like to disable this featured image functionality for the time being using the theme’s setting.
