disable feed 1.2.1 – 301 redirects to non-existent page

  • I’m using disable feeds plugin 1.2.1 on wp 3.8

    While I have its configured to 404, what actually happens
    when I try to access site.com/page/feed it 301 redirects to site.com/page/feed/feed which of course returns a 404.

    Shoudn’t site.com/page/feed return the 404 without using a 301 redirect first?

    Hi Mike,

    Can you post a link to the site?

    Most likely, the redirect is cached in your browser (browsers cache 301 redirects indefinitely) from before you installed the plugin, in which case if you clear the cache (or visit the link from a different browser) the 404 will appear.

    If not, then can you tell me what other plugins you have installed?
