Disable full-screen browsing

Hi, this plugin is great! I’m glad I don’t have to use JetPack as it causes a lot of issues.

I need to disable displaying images and galleries in a full-screen browsing. I only want to have a “static” tile gallery. Any suggestion how to do it? With JetPack I was able to do that.
