I have installed the Custom Post Type UI to create a custom post type. When adding a new post with that custom post type, the ‘Disable Gutenberg’ works. But after publishing the post, leaving the editor, and then getting back to edit the post, Gutenberg is back. Help please?

I do not know what might be happening, but will investigate for the next plugin update. In the meantime please feel free to post again with any further clues. Thank you.

I am investigating this now for the DG 1.7 release, but am not able to replicate the described issue. So far DG is working fine on CPTs created with the Custom Post Type UI plugin. If you can provide specific steps to recreate the issue, I will continue investigating. Please feel free to follow up with any further infos or clues, thank you.

For me DG worked while creating a ‘new’ custom post type post. But once you publish it, go to home page for example, and go back to edit the same post, that’s where the problem is.

Yeah that is what you describe in your original post, but it does not happen on default WP running the latest version of both plugins. You can verify this yourself on a fresh WP install, or if you are unable I would be glad to send a video showing it working normally.

    It’s working now. Thank you.
