I am using Envira Lite 1.6.2 and WordPress 4.9.6 running the Coastal theme. I want to disable the default caption that displays when the cursor is hovered over an image in the Envira Gallery. I found a doc that advised that the “number of gallery columns” in Config must be changed from “Automatic” to one of the column selections and this will bring up an option to disable the captions but when I make the change I don’t get the option. Any help please?

  • Hi @stokers,

It sounds like the documentation you were referencing was not for the free version of the plugin.

    Thanks

Hi Bryan thanks for letting me know. Could you advise what upgrade version I need to get the caption disabling facility. Is it Basic, Plus or Pro? It is not clear in the upgrade descriptions. I am happy with Envira in all other respects so if Basic covers the captions that would be fine for me.
