Disable image hover/overlay

Hi – i’m trying to disable the image hover functionality, and/or the hover overlay effects (lightbox is turned off). Full width images otherwise have the slight tint, even with all the settings turned off, which is undesirable. Is there a way to disable hover in a masonry gallery alltogether?
