Disable Image Sitemap

    Hi there, I have added the exact filter as shown here https://jetpack.com/support/sitemaps/ at “How to disable the Image?sitemap” but it does not seem to work, see link below: It still has the full image sitemap.

    Maybe the info on that support page is incorrect?

    Fixed by itself! I guess it was because of: “sitemaps including post, image, and video sitemaps are automatically updated around every 12 hours by using WP-Cron.” (from support page linked above)

    I still could see the images folder 15 hours ago, within 20 or 30 minutes that I had activated the filter, but now it is not included as expected.

    I would suggest to add a note to the section “How to disable the Image?sitemap” on the support page, noting that the effect of the filter will only be seen after next cron update!
