disable image sizes core

    Hi, our website is out of storage space due to 15 images being generated for each image we upload. We run amp for wp, woocommerce, woorewards and wpsso and cannot disable the various images generated by wpsso and woorewards.

    Is there any option to disable social media image sizes in wpsso or code that can be removed to achieve this? i would like to disable all social media image sizes.

    If you look under the SSO > Image Sizes settings page, you will see that WPSSO creates 5 different image dimensions, although it uses a few different image size names (several share the same dimensions).

    Since the Schema 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9 dimensions for Google must be cropped, you could define all other image dimensions as 1200×1200 cropped (same as the Schema 1:1 dimensions), which would bring you down from 5 different image dimensions to 3 different image dimensions.

    Unfortunately, the Schema 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9 dimensions for Google cannot be combined – Google requires 3 different dimensions.
