Disable Jetpack’s slideshow loop

Although I wouldn’t recommend editing plugin files directly, there is an option to disable the loop functionality here:

There was an issue created for our development team to request an easier way to disable looping slideshows: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/12342

Please note that this only works with the block editor and not the classic editor.

It can possibly be done by altering Jetpack’s code, but that’s something we cannot recommend as it may break the plugin.
