• Hi,

If we wanted to completely disable minification / merging of .js files, how would you go about that because ticking “Disable JS Minification” and “Don’t Merge JS” in settings still seems to load .js files from /wp-content/mmr/ folder rather than their usual locations.

We are finding that WooCommerce Stripe / Paypal sales continue to occasionally fail when .js files are minified and / or items refuse to be changed in the mini cart so need a quick fix but still want to merge / minify .css.

    Please advise.

    Oliver

    Hi Oliver,

What if you add the full path of the script to the ignore list?

Unfortunately this is a very difficult issue to diagnose because it’s sporadic and despite continued efforts we cannot replicate it. All we know is that randomly a customer will not be able to complete a payment and since disabling this plugin (for several months) on affected websites, the issue has not re-occured.

Because we have no idea what’s causing the issue … all that we know is that disabling JS merging / minification resolves it.

So as you can see, we are unable to set your plugin to ignore a specific script as we don’t know which one is causing the issue.

This is why we’d like to keep the CSS minification / merging but prevent JS minification / merging (until such time as we can identify the issue).

I came here to post about this same exact issue. I have a site where it seems that the merging and minification of JS causes the site to not load properly. I ticked “Disable JS Minification” and “Don’t Merge JS” and was shocked to find out that it is still minifying JS. I tried Purge All but when I come back I see a bunch of JS files that have been minified by the plug-in.

Seems like something is broken no? Disable should disable.
