    Hello together,
I use WP4.x (migration to WP5.x is planned) with Connections Business Directory 8.39.1 and the following shortcode in a page for displaying all members of our team:

    [connections category=7].

This lists all members with an image and some information, which is okay. The problem is, that I cannot disable the link from the image of each team member to the member’s single page.

I only want to have the overview of all members and NO single entry view.

    How can I archive this?

Searching on the web points to the documentation of connections but does not provide a solution for my problem.

Do you need any additional information from my side?

Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Advanced tab. Scroll to the Permalinks section and disable the Name permalink option. Save the changes.

After you do this, the team member names will no longer be permailinkins to the single entry view.

    Hope this helps!

ps. After you migrate to WP5.x checkout the new Team block:

    Hi Steven,
thank you very much for your time and fast response.

I just went to the advanced tab (wp-admin/admin.php?page=connections_settings&tab=advanced) and nothing is checked on the page.

The only element that links to the member’s entry is the image.

Sounds like you have added an link to the entry and associated that link to the image.

Edit the entry, scroll to the Link section (metabox) and remove the link.

    Hope this helps!

ps. I am assuming you are using the Default Card template. So if you are not using that template, sharing a link to your site will help a lot so I can give accurate instructions instead of guessing.

    Hi Steven,
I just checked for any link and there is none.

The page I am talking about is the following:

    My apologies!

After reviewing your page and looking into the code, it seems I changed the default for the image to always be a permalink for the entry image. I did this because I often received this request because the image was never a permalink to the single entry page.

Unfortunately there is not actually an easy way to disable this feature at this time.

What I can do, is tweak it so it respects the permalink settings option for the Name setting. I’ll see if I can get this tweak into the maintenance release planned for today.

Hello, Steven! I also have such a problem. The photo is no longer clickable after update. https://tcvertical.ru/shops/
