    This may be documented somewhere but I haven’t found it.

    Is there a way to disable links in the feed that is retrieved?

    I need to just retrieve an item and don’t want the title to link back to the original site. I believe that I can turn off the read more option by setting it to false but how do I disable the title link in the shortcode?

    Also if I just want to display the title from a feed and not display any excerpt do I set excerpt to zero or is there another way to do this?

    I figured out how to remove the excerpt and source and publish date but I still don’t see a way to disable the link on the title.

    Unfortunately, this is not possible but we’re working on a new feature that would allow much more customization.

    I assume it is temporarily possible to comment out the code in the function get_title in the rss_retriever_feed code until this feature is available. Is that right?

    Yes, you could comment out lines 89-91, and 93
