Disable Minify for logged-in users by roles

    Hi this is a general suggestion for your minified option. It would be very helpful to choose wich roles should be disabled from Minifying.

    For example we have a shop with many registered customer. In this example i would like to disable Minify for “Administrator”, “Editor” and “Shop manager”, but not for “Customer”.

    Ist this possible?
    And if not, this could be a very functional feature request?! ??

    At the moment this is not possible but I will add it as a feature request to our internal development board.

    Ah yeah and for the page Cache? There you call it “Serve cached pages to logged in users”.
    Would be so nice to have here also the oportunity to define wich user roles should see cached pages ?? In my case i would only tick the customer, because they should see high speed cached pages too ??

    But for the page cache it is not so important like for the Minified Files…
    If you have a big page (3.000 above pages) it is even bit buggy this option… the Cache preloader needs 3-4 hours to process the complete Preload… and in moment when i tick the checkbox “Serve cached pages to logged in users” my hole Website break and i see everywhere 505 Error’s ??

    Hi Robert,

    I can see what you are saying

    If it is implemented, then it will take a bit of time so your best bet would be to keep an eye on the change log.

    I have added a note to the feature request to add a note to the thread if/when this is available but no guarantees I am afraid.

    For the serve cache to logged in users, is it just this option you have enabled or did you have the “Enable user specific cache” checked as well.

    Could you ask your hosts for you php error logs?
