Disable mobile version

  • Hi.
    I would like to disable mobile version, because it doesn’t work well on mobiles (it might be my fault because I have customized the website a lot). So I would prefer that it loads normal version on mobiles.

    How can I do that?

    Got it, this had to be removed from header.php

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width" />

    Please don’t edit that file directly, you’ll lose your work when the theme is updated.

    Instead create and activate a child theme and edit a copy of that header.php file in the child theme directory.

    Thanks a lot for the heads up, I am familiar with this, but I never update this theme, so for me it’s OK.

    If you don’t keep the theme updated, you will very likely run into compatibility or security issues – not a good thing.
