• Hey,
    I can’t find a way to disable the mobile view on my wordpress site.
    I have changed some css which means the mobile view doesn’t work great as I’ve fixed some widths.
    How do I get my site to display on mobiles exacly how it looks on desktop?

    It looks like you’ve got the minileven (mobile) theme enabled on the site, but I don’t see any other theme enabled. What do you have in Appearance > Theme?

    Once you have enabled your theme again, go to Jetpack > Mobile Theme > Deactivate. You should then see your full site on the mobile version.

    I’m using arcadia theme. I can’t fine ‘minileven’ anywhere!
    The jetpack mobile theme is disabled.

    Hmm, I’m not seeing Arcadia showing up on your site on my laptop – it’s only displaying the mobile theme (which is what minileven is).

    What plugins do you have? You may try deactivating them all and refreshing to see if your theme shows up. If it does, there’s a plugin conflict, and you’ll want to tell Theme Forest (they make Arcadia) about it. If it doesn’t appear, there’s something else at play here.

    The arcadia theme is what my style.cc is through.. the first line is
    “/*
    Theme Name: Arcadia
    Theme URI: https://cr1000team.com/arcadia”

    I only have a couple of plugins, like wordpress seo, analytics etc.. nothing that would affect layout.

    I think the arcadia theme comes with the mobile view, i just need a way to disable this part.

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    It’s not particularly a problem with the theme.
    I’ve changed some css so the mobile theme widths aren’t right now. I understand that is why but im not keen on how mobile themes look anyway so i just want to disable it completely so the mobile view is the same as the desktop view.

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?

    A conflict with the Arcadia theme and the way it displays (or doesn’t display) properly in mobile can come from any plugin, even one that seems to have nothing whatsoever to do with the theme.

    The best and quickest way to check to see if there’s a bizarre conflict that’s causing the root issue is to deactivate all your plugins and see if the problem is solved. If not, revert to Twenty Fourteen and check again. If it is then solved, the problem is with the theme. If it is solved by deactivating your plugins, turn the plugins back on one-by-one to check each one in turn.

    You may also want to deactivate any modifications you made to your CSS temporarily.

    Please try what Esmi has suggested. Deactivate ALL plugins AND switch to a default theme and test again.

    I deactivated all plugins and I still have the same problem.
    I truly think it’s just due to content widths, but I don’t know which part of the css I need to ammend!

    your theme loads a stylesheet media-queries.css which (possibly) contains the adaptive styles for smaller screens;
    the theme also uses 'overflow-x: hidden;' in the styles of html and body in style.css;
    try to remove those.

    more important:
    have you asked the developer of your theme about your problem?

    as your theme is not one of the themes from https://www.ads-software.com/themes/, any support in this forum is limited.

    Any one know how to make mobile display like desktop i have this problem ??

    my site is
