    Hi,
First of all would like to thank you the for awesome plugin.

I’m looking to close new registration/enrollment to a specific course. Is there any option to do that using a scheduler or even manually from backend?

    Thanks!

  • Hi @newbiedev,

If you don’t want any new enrollment for a specific course. you can limit the number of students that can enroll in that course. I hope this solution will help you.

To do this kindly go to your WP-admin -> Tutor LMS -> Courses -> Select your course and click on Edit -> Maximum students(As many students as you want) -> Update.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the reply. But if there are courses that have 0 enrollment so far, this cannot be used.
Setting 0 as max students makes it unlimited.

So still not sure how to handle it?

    Hello @newbiedev,

Change the value from zero to your preferred number to limit enrollments. Tutor pro has addon that allows you to manually add or remove students from specific courses. For more details on this feature

    Hi Munayam,
I do get the option of putting a number of enrollment.

My challenge is this: I’ve a live classes course. And it did not get any sign-ups. Now the date has passed, and I want to keep it as archive on my website, but not allow any enrollments (since the live class time is over).
Is there a way to achieve that?

    Hello @newbiedev,

Live classes if created using Zoom has expired then students will see an expired notification in the single course page.

Your initial requirement was to limit enrollment for which you can disable membership-anyone can register from WordPress settings > general so new user won’t be able to sign up/register with your LMS platform. You can also hide enroll button with custom CSS.

    Hi @munayam

If you read my original post – My requirement is fairly straight-forward. To stop enrollment for an existing course. This is needed even if there are zero enrollments till date.
I dont want to stop registeration for website or even other courses.

    Hello @newbiedev,

The best way to achieve that is to put a max number of students that can enroll. Until that number is reached enrollment will remain open. Once that specific number is reached, your course will remain published but users will see a notification for closed enrollments.
