• Hi,

The latest version has centralised the configuration for multisite, regardless of whether the plugin is enabled on the network or not. This has completely broken our authentication setup, which requires a different configuration for each blog.

While I love the idea of a central configuration option, it still needs to allow for a per-blog configuration. Or the central configuration should only occur if the plugin is network activated. In our case, the plugin is activated on a per-blog basis and configured on a per-blog basis.

I’ve had to rollback to 1.1.5 to fix this for now.

    Thanks!

  • I have the same problem here.
v1.1.6 is “unsable” because it will break our multisite setup.
We need to be able to set Ad groups and roles for each site.

Please, remove the new feature until it is properly done.

    Thanks

In our case, being able to set the LDAP server settings and user settings globally would be great. It’s just the authentication settings that need to be per-blog. And in that case, all of our settings are easily delivered via a template (we use <blogpath>_authors, <blogpath>_editors, etc).

So, a system where you can set the overall configuration at the network level and then per-blog authentication, or use a template for authentication with global groups, etc, would be great.
