Disable or Remove the htaccess file

On my todo-list for the next version is a filter to override default .htaccess content DevynJohnson. Until that is the case however, you’ll have to make do by manually removing the content (but keeping the file in place, to avoid it being recreated).

if you want you can download the zip-file from GitHub (there’s already a lot of improvements and bugfixes in there) and overwrite wp-content/plugins/autoptimize with the content of that archive to test. if you do test, let me know how that works for you!
