    Hello @caracole ,

Thank you for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.

Go to the Pay Later settings tab in your PayPal Payments plugin settings, and remove the “Home” location from the list.

By following these steps, you should be able to remove it from your home page. If you encounter any difficulties or have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

For further reference, you may find the documentation here.

    Hey Jamie,

It’s a bit odd that to remove an option about paypal for which i installed WooCommerce PayPal Payments plugin, you suggest me to go to Woocommerce Payments plugin settings.

And my question was “How to disable Pay Later from my shop” i meant how to disable Pay Later everywhere on my website, not only the homepage.

    Thanks.

    Hi @caracole ,

My apologies for not being clear (with the previous screenshot). The Paypal Payments plugin settings is located within WooCommerce plugin – shown here:

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/15h6-XTyHF78XO-ifnng2PCGhcaoUyjKv/view?usp=drivesdk

By Disabling the Pay Later button, it will not be shown anywhere on the webpage.

Let us know if that explains better.

    Jamie

Ok i got what you meant and i realize i was unclear my self.

So with “Pay later” (which is disabled in the Pay Later tab) there is also a Pay in 4X feature or however it’s written in english (my website is using i16n).
I want to remove the Pay in 4X as well.

The only way i achieve it is by enabling the Pay Vault, but it’s a work around. I dont even know what is this “vault”.
    Thanks to enlight me ??

    Hi @caracole,

No problem, we understand that there are many terms and definitions that can sometimes be confusing.

For Pay Later, there are two parts – first one is the “Pay Later messaging” , second is the Pay Later button. We break it down here:

    1. Pay Later Messaging –
You can remove these messaging by unchecking all the boxes here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1K_SutBUdD-eRPy5QdIOxp2l_bzPJGSna/view?usp=drivesdk.

The Pay Later messaging & configurator languages depend on the primary country of the PayPal merchant account, means it is based on your shop country.

Regarding the language of the Pay Later messaging, it is worth noting that Pay Later are “regional” offerings, so PayPal won’t translate the Pay Later messaging or button into other languages, since all Pay Later regions have their own dedicated messaging/buttons:?https://developer.paypal.com/docs/checkout/pay-later/us/
These are not only different labels on the buttons, but it’s actually a different Pay Later button per region.

However in your case, you want to disable/hide all messaging, this should no longer be an issue.
    2. Displaying the Pay Later button – you can disable the button based on the instructions in the previous comment. This will take effect on the entire site.

As for your question regarding “Vaulting”, the Vaulting feature allows you to securely store your customer’s payment methods as a unique, non-sensitive token within your system. Your customer won’t have to enter their payment details the next time they purchase from your site.

For additional information about Vaulting, you can find out here.

Let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks for the clarification Jamie.
So my concern is about your point 1.
I tried to uncheck all these messages like on your screenshot. But when i do so and save the settings the page refresh with boxes checked again :'(

    Any idea why ?

    Hi @caracole,

It appears there may be no specific reasons identified for the settings not being saved properly. We recommend clearing your cache and attempting to uncheck and save the settings again, as this might resolve any issues related to updates not being applied correctly.

Additionally, could you please provide the System Status Report? This will help us verify the version of the plugin in use and further assist with troubleshooting. Thank you.

    Best Regards,
    Jamie

    Hello,

we have exactly the same problem. If we uncheck all pay-later messaging boxes, save, refresh the page, all boxes are checked again. Clearing the cache doesn’t help.

    Any solution?

    Best regards
