disable photo-title

since WP upgrade there are titles under photos in posts. How can I avoid this? In theme settings I only can choose title under or inside photo, but not ‘no-title’
I have to delete every title manually on each photo and afterwards I have to re-align the photo – lot of useless manip.
It seems that WP 4.2 copies ‘title’ automatically to ‘caption’ (in my case the cameratype ‘SONY DSC’ ) and this ‘caption’ is now mentioned under the photo. On IMG-uploads before WP upgrade the ‘caption’ was always empty (photos taken with same camera, etc)
