Hi, we need to remove this broken icon loading on the author page admin for each author of our magazine, where you have ‘upload org image for rich snippets,’ which is not needed for each author, as not part of org.

You are loading a broken icon from external site, which fails Google security check.

How can we disable this ?

We are sorry for the trouble you are experiencing with our plugin.

Would you please elaborate on this issue in more detail? If possible, can you take a screenshot that highlights this issue? This would help us investigate the issue further.

We look forward to hearing from you.

    Hi
for the section on user account setup/author account setup page in admin

    Organization
These fields are required to fully comply with Rich Snippets standards.

    Under

    Organization Name
    Organization Logo

Organizaition Logo should be no wider than 600px, and no taller than 60px.

There is broken icon, for placeholder, trying to load off external site.

That should not be there at all.

    Hi @neotrope

Could you please provide us with a screenshot of exactly what you are seeing when editing a user’s profile in the WP admin backend? You can use snipboard.io or another website to take a screenshot and share a link with us here.

Based on your description, it doesn’t sound like these fields/settings are related to the Yoast SEO plugin.

We do know that you can output schema.org structured data with the Yoast SEO plugin and that you can set the organization name and logo, but this setting is located under the WP admin dashboard > SEO (sidebar) > Search Appearance > General tab > Knowledge Graph & Schema.org, and not in the user profile.

You can learn more about it here – https://yoast.com/help/implementing-schema-with-yoast-seo/

Thank you for the reply. Note that the box doesn’t appear on user/author setup pages on sites without Yoast installed. In any case, here is screen shot:

Thanks for sharing the relevant screenshot here with us. We can confirm the organization image issue you’re having isn’t specific to Yoast SEO as the relevant organization settings aren’t even generated by the Yoast SEO plugin. Yoast SEO is only generating the Yoast SEO settings section that appears above the relevant organization settings.

So, you’ll need to find the exact source of the relevant settings first before you could fix the issue or submit an issue report.

Apologies – you are indeed correct.
My bad for not doing normal best practice of temporarily disabling the plugin to see if the offending element was redacted. Which, I just did, and it’s still active.

    Ooops. (Facepalm.)

WP user since 2005, and you’d think I would know to do that FIRST by now.

THANK YOU for checking on that.
