disable price on certain categories

hmm do you mean to disable showing the price on some categories or disabling the price when someone selects a category in the [adverts_add]?

we do not have such a feature I am afraid, it actually would be best to disable the Price field when some category is selected then the user would not be able to enter the price so the price would never be shown.

If you want the users to enter the price but hide it on some category pages then the only way to do that would be to open the wpadverts/templates/list-item.php file and hide it with PHP code.

I will need ask my developer to do that, thank you for your help on figuring this out. I do want to hide the Price field on certain categories and the Custom Forms do not offer that option.

To be clear, I want to hide the Price field from the ad posting area and then also from the ad display anywhere it can appear, but only on specified categories.

so what you are basically looking for is to have a different form for each category (even though the only difference might be the Price field), you can do that with the Custom Fields extension as explained here https://wpadverts.com/doc/different-form-for-each-category/

Hi Greg, I have Custom Fields, and Price is not an option to turn off in a form, am I missing something, should I open a support ticket or just ask my developer to figure it out? Thanks!!
