    Hello,

I want to disable finger photo swiping (left, right) product image (photo gallery) in touch-enabled browser (devices).
Is it possible to disable it by using CSS code?
I want people to touch thumbnail image to see different photo not by swiping left and right.

    Thank you.

    Hello @jason45kim,

Disabling the swipe functionality, requires adding some custom code. On https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/a/338350 you can find various code snippets that allow you to deactivate that functionality. Code snippets itself can be added to your site using the Code Snippets plugin.

    Hello Niels,

I tried the both options, but option A didn’t work.
Option B worked but not completely.
With option B, when I clicked the one of thumbnail image, it opens new window to show the image.
My problem is it scrolls vertically when I swipe the image.
I want to prevent vertical scrolling while swiping images (horizontal scroll).
Is there a code just prevent this?

Thank you so much for the help.

    Hi there!
This is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

I hope that helps you to figure it out.
Feel free to get back to us if you have further questions.
