Disable related posts in a specific post

In the meta box at the bottom of the post edit screen you can check the box saying “Disable Related Posts display”

Is there a way to do it by category? So I don’t have to go in and edit every post.

You can’t exclude on categories right now.

It’s not an easy option. You’ll need to write custom code for this one to filter get_crp and if the current category is what you want then don’t display it.
