Disable reminder for htaccess changes if rules placed directly in apache config

We moved all suggested htaccess rules of w3total cache to our apache config for performance reasons.
But now the plugin is complaining that there are no rules in our htaccess file. Is ist possible to add a filter or a check for a defined constant to disable the check for the htaccess files?
