Disable search behaviour
-
I noticed that WordPress has this tendancy to run a search and automatically redirect the user to the closest result when the user types in a character after the blog URL. For example, if I enter https://www.example.com/blog/m, I get redirected to https://www.example.com/blog/2009/04/25/mexico/.
I am experimenting with a .htaccess rule whereby if the user goes to https://www.example.com/blog/m/ (or /m/2009/04/25/mexico/), the user is redirected to https://www.example.com/blog/?mobile (or /2009/04/25/mexico/?mobile) for the MobilePress plugin to kick-in.
Currently as it is, if I go to https://www.example.com/blog/m/, I get redirected to https://www.example.com/blog/2009/04/25/mexico/?mobile. Is there any way to disable this behaviour?
