Disable Security Features – But how to re-Enable?

    Hi guys,
    I clicked on “Disable Security Features” from =aiowpsec_settings
    (since I was getting a 403 on /blog page that used to work)
    but the button does not change back to Enable again. How do we go back to enable again?

    Isn’t this meant to be a temp disable to check since it has this message?
    "If you think that some plugin functionality on your site is broken due to a security feature you enabled in this plugin, then use the following option to turn off all the security features of this plugin."

    Hope we have not lost all our settings and we need to start fresh again.. ??
    (have backup of whole site, but need to restore I guess to get the settings, I assume).

    Any tips?

    Unfortunately yes, you have lost all your settings. I hope you created a backup. This feature is set up to help the admin of the site recover from an unexpected crash. After this, the admin can start enabling one by one each security feature and at the same time carrying out a test until they find out which feature caused the issue in the first place.

    Damn, the way it was appeared to me, was indeed some temp way to ‘disable’ settings to test if it fixes issues and if not, enable again as the settings were.

    I would not label it ‘disable’ then as its more of a ‘reset’ or ‘reset of settings’.

    So any way to properly disable settings to see if when this plugin settings are disabled to check if its causing the issue, or simply a plugin disable is what would do it?

    Any file that has the settings or are all in db? – that I can extract the settings from, without restoring a whole instance?
