Disable Shipping and Receiving for Event tickets?

Does this have to do with Paypal IPN? If so, how do we implement it into this plugin?

So just to clarify, when the user leaves the site and is brought to the item purchase on the Paypal screen, there is an added shipping and receiving cost. Please help me remove this. If someone can respond ASAP that would be great, kind of urgent!

I have never seen that popup on my installs. I also can not find anything about it in the control panel. Do you possibly have something setup to that effect in PayPal?

When a ticket is being purchased it adds on shipping and handling. How do I remove this? You think this is a Paypal fix? If so, do you know how? It’s not my account directly I’ll be working with.

I don’t know how to change it on PayPal, but you can call them at 888-221-1161 and they should be able to help. Their website help documents are pretty bad which is why I would call.

This is actually something that is controlled in your PayPal account. However, it can also be turned off when sending the IPN request. It seems this plugin, Event Registration is defunct/removed from WordPress. If you need a reliable event registration plugin, I would recommend Event Espresso: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/event-espresso-decaf/

In Event Espresso, we include an option to turn this off in the PayPal Standard and PayPal Express settings.
