disable some posts

    Hello !

    Is there a way to disable some posts on my website?

    I made a few quote format posts, that I am using for a small carousel (CVPro plugin).
    I can remove the links to the single posts, but still we can access them with an URL that are easy to guess.
    Is there a way to disable them?
    For example, can I disable all the quote-format posts and some posts of a category? (without affecting my carousel)

    is the private publish mode useful for this?
    is it the proper way to do it?

    Put them in draft mode — I don’t know if your carousel would respect “private” mode, but give it a try.

    Thanks for this answer!
    Infortunately when I put it on draft mode, it’s no more on the carrousel
    same with private mode
