Disable Thumbnail Row

    Is there a way to disable the thumbnail preview row in the album/gallery admin pages and also disable the automatic creation of thumbnails when images are scanned in or imported when a gallery is created?

    We do not need the thumbnails since we just use TimThumb.

    Hi @lilap!

    I think you will be able to hide the thumbnail preview from those administrative pages using some CSS customizations.

    But the difficult question is how to disable the automatic creation of the thumbnails.
    At this moment I don’t know if that’s possible.
    I’ll contact the dev team and see what they have to add to this question.

    Hi @lilap!

    Relying on an external plugin for thumbnail generation for NextGEN Gallery could produce unexpected results, and strongly suggest that they take advantage of NextGEN’s ability to do dynamic thumbnail generation.

    Otherwise, you’re free to modify the NextGEN source code but unfortunately, we wouldn’t be able to support those kinds of modifications.
