    Hi,
I have a client who doesn’t really want their clients to be able to click through from their My Projects dashboard to the actual individual projects, by clicking on the Title or thumbnail/status of the project. The My Projects dashboard view has all the info in it that the client will need.
How can I go about disabling the link?

    Hi,

Not sure I understand your request.
You don’t want your clients to click items on the My Projects dashboard because the My Projects dashboard already has all the info? I am surely missing something ^^

    Regards.

    Oh,

I received your mail and I think I’ve finally understood what your request is.
The first thing you need to understand is that the My Projects listing page does not actually include all the features that a single project post does. On a single project post, you’ll get links to attachments posts, “mark as read” buttons, switch user dropdown, metadata, full-content description, links to attached content (tasks, conversations, etc..), edit/delete buttons, and really more…
If you want to keep all WPCA functionalities working, you’ll to edit our templates in order to edit the project content items templates so that they include all the features from the project content templates.

    Honestly?
I do not recommend you to do that. It will be a huge work you probably won’t be able to maintain by the time, you’ll probably miss a lot of functionalities and creates various buggy effects.

    Regards.

    Hi Thomas,
Thanks for the reply. I have however managed to achieve what I was needing by editing the template file.
I understand that it’s not ideal or the way the plugin is meant to be used, but for my client’s purposes it is how they are wanting to use it.
