Same here… This is a huge bug in TranslatePress since months now. Waiting for a solution…

    Hello,

You need to manually add the translation in the desired form. This way, automatic translation won’t re-translate the emails.
To do this, you need to enable the “Show regular strings tab in String Translation” option in Settings – TranslatePress -> Advanced tab -> Debug.
After that, the strings will appear in the String Translation Interface – Regular, and you can translate them manually in the desired form.

You can also check the email strings in the String Translation Interface – Gettext and Emails.

Given that the strings have been automatically translated and have an assigned translation, it is necessary for this to be deleted manually or replaced with the text from the default language.

You can try to add <div data-no-translation> before the content of the email and </div> at the end. You can add the email subject in TranslatePress Advanced Settings – Exclude Gettext Strings – Gettext String to be excluded from automatic translation as well.

If the plugin used for emails supports shortcodes, you can use Conditional Shortcode Based on Language to display the text in the default language even for the additional language: https://translatepress.com/docs/restrict-by-language/translation-shortcode/

    Kind Regards,

    Anca
