Disable user posting

    Hello,

    Is there any way to disable social features on Ultimate Member like users being able to post pictures, text, etc? I only want users to be able to follow each other, upload avatars, and look at badges and points (through myCRED) So, is there any way to disable users from posting?

    I have not bought the myCRED extension yet, so I do not have access to the UM support ticket. I just want to know If there is a way to disable users from posting.

    Hi @heyyoburg,

    Did you mean disable user from creating new wordpress post? You can do this by creating a custom UM role and from the capability manager remove capability to create new post in that role. Those users won’t be able to create post.
