Disable WordPress core AUTOMATIC updates

    Does “Automatic Updates – OFF” include WordPress Core updates?

    Does “Disable WordPress Core Updates” mean disable AUTOMATIC core updates?

    I don’t want ANY automatic updates.

    Please advise.

    Hi @barbra-wolfe,

    Yes. Automatic Updates - off means no automatic update will happen including WP Core. If you don’t want ANY updates, this is best option.

    Yes. Disable WordPress Core Updates means no core update will happen.
    If you want to update your theme and plugins, but not WP Core then this option is best.
