Disabled custom notifications still being sent

    I have created some custom notifications, but when I disable those notifications they are still being sent.

    I have a custom post type and every time a new post is made it triggers a notification. I disabled one of the notifications, and could see that it was disabled on the individual notification editor page and on the overview page showing all of the notifications. But the notification still sent when I created a new post.

    Just to check – does it still send the notification if the BNFW plugin is disabled completely (not just the notification)?
