Disabled Elementor Slider Incorrectly
-
I’m an Asset CleanUp Lite user. Recently, I tried unloading 2 Elementor handles (swiper & share-link) to speed up the site. Unfortunately, I did not do this in Test Mode or something similar. I also didn’t check the “Ignore dependency rule…”.
This seemed to cause issues with
1) The Stretch Section feature on my home page for all sections
2) Inserting any new icons and fonts. The formatting (applying colors, centering, etc.) wouldn’t apply.
3) Updates on the website when I open the URL in a guest profile in Chrome (this could be a caching issue, but clearing the WP cache and browser cache don’t seem to solve it)I validated this by
(1) Deactivating the plugin and checking the pages
(2) Using the string query ?wpacu_no_load with the plugin active. In both cases, the formatting applied as normal. Only later did I find the link to an article explaining my mistake of not checking the dependency box:
https://assetcleanup.com/docs/how-to-unload-swiper-from-elementor/
I have tried
1) Resetting all settings in the plugin
2) Uninstalling/reinstalling the Asset CleanUp plugin twice
3) Regenerating CSS Files in the Elementor –> Tools section
4) Reinstalling the latest version of Elementor
5) Changed themes from Ocean WP to Astra. Later reversed this when it didn’t work. The issues persist on the home page. My other pages can display the stretch screen width for all sections, but any formatting to new icons and fonts have trouble on them as well.
Any insights as to what I can do to correct any changes made to the frontend handle?
Theme: Ocean WP
Plugins Active: WP Fastest Cache, Yoast SEO, WP Forms Lite, WP File Manager, Elementor, Elementor – Header, Footer & BlocksThanks,
StephenEdit: Added a couple other methods I tried (#3 & #4 in that list)
