• I unchecked events 9072 and 9073 on the “Enable/Disable Events” page and clicked Save Changes. That was three days ago. I looked this morning and these events are still being logged. How do I get this to stop?

    Hello @jasonpiersonawana

Thank you for using our plugin.

I have just tested this with a Vanilla WordPress, WooCommerce and WP Activity Log plugin install and it works as expected; when disabled all events are not reported in the logs.

Let’s start with some basic troubleshooting:

    1) A bit of an obvious question, but better confirm; are you saving the settings when you make such changes?

    2) When you disable event IDs, the plugin adds the IDs of the disabled events in the setting wsal_disabled-alerts in the wp_options table. Can you please confirm if the plugin is adding them to this setting in the database when saving the settings?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    2. These are values in the wsal_disabled-alerts option:

    Hello @jasonpiersonawana

Does this problem happens only with these two specific event IDs or also with other event IDs that are disabled?

You can quickly test this by temporarily disabling a common event ID, such as ID 1000 (logins) and login to the website.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

It’s happening on 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 2101, 4016, 9036, 9040 as well. Those are on the most recent page of the log viewer.
