• I used to have a few sites hosted with Hostgator but now I have moved them to a dedicated server running Ubuntu Server 14.04.3.

I imported the mysql databases into new databases in mysql on the Linux server in the usual way.

For each site I copied the files to the location /var/www/site_one_domain.com/public_html
    /var/www/site_two_domain.com/public_html

and so on… Everything works but I noticed that if I disable one of the sites then hit the bookmark for it I get redirected to one of the other sites on my server. This also happens if I try to access the wp control panel.

I noticed the file structure was different on hostgator. All the sites are inside public_html

    /public_html/site_one_domain.com/wp-folders
    /public_html/site_two_domain.com/wp-folders

    and so on…

I was wondering if it was a database issue? Does this sound right?

    Any help greatly appreciated.
