    Hello,

Since Google Universal Analytics is not collecting data anymore, I wanted to disable the UA tracking. I removed the UA-xxxxxxxx-x value from the main settings in the plugin and saved the modification.

But now when I load the site, I can still see a request being sent to

    https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-xxxxxxxx-x&l=dataLayer&cx=c

in addition to the G-XXXXXXXXXXX one for GA 4 tracking.

How can I completely remove it? I don’t have tracking set up elsewhere and it seems the request is generated by

    https://mysite/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-google-adwords-conversion-tracking-tag/js/public/wpm-public.p1.min.js?ver=1.32.2

My site is all up to date as of today, Pixel Manager version 1.32.2 (free).

    Hi @jacksim

This sounds either like the server-side cache has not been cleared yet. Or maybe some third-party GA code is still active.

Do you have some server-side cache that you need to clear?

Also, we will publish a new version of the Pixel Manager this week that will altogether disable GA Universal.

I don’t have a server-side cache plugin installed (yet – working on it) and no other tracking code.

I did notice that the function that invoques the aforementioned script is called loadScriptAndCacheIt(). So is there an internal cache to your plugin that doesn’t get purged when the configuration is modified?

No, it can’t be that. This only caches the tracking script in the browser. But it would only get activated if the GA Universal configuration is still active.

Please send the URL of the shop so I can have quick look.

This seems to be loaded through the GA4 integration: https://cln.sh/flcGfLM4

Try disconnecting GA Universal in GA4.
