• *NOTE: I disabled the plugin as it was just putting up ugly large square ads, left aligned at the top of my home page and random pages and I had no controls to edit ad size, type, etc. (there wasn’t even code on the pages themselves I could remove.)

WHERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS PLUGIN?

I am using Theme Bouquet. I have ZERO code experience.

    1. I see no menu or anything for this plugin, just php pages under the editor, found in the main admi dashboard. But I have no idea how to even read php.

I suddenly find a large square ad at the top of my home page, when I want a narrow horizontal banner.

I thought I removed the code from the html text view and updated the page, but the big square ad still shows. (which is why I disabled the plugin.)

    2. I had ads appearing from Explosion on random pages, but not other pages. My site is almost all full PAGES, not POSTS.

For example, a big square ad appears on a page that is like one line of text, which no one goes to, but pages that have 2,000 words of text and get hundreds of hits have no ads.

Why would this happen? How can I get ads on all pages, and then suppress ads on pages I do not want ads on?

    3. I find no instructions for this plugin. The only thing on the plugin official page is instructions on where to find my AdSense account number, but it does not include any information of what I DO with the account number.

(Where am I supposed to type that in to link my account to your plugin, if that is why I need the number?)

    4. the info on the download page for this plugin says it can put ads in headers and footers.

HOW do I do this? If this is related to Theme Bouquet, any suggestion for free themes that DO allow this, but also offer full page templates would be welcome.

    5. it implies I can set ads to left, center or right and choose size and color of ads.

    HOW do I do this?

    6. It implies I can put ads on my Sidebar on posts or pages that use a side bar.

HOW can I do this? And how can I control WHERE on the sidebar the ad or ads shall appear?

    7. I have a site onemanz.com, but my MAIN site is really onemanz.com/guitar.

No ads from Explosion are appearing on the pages in /guitar, although the plug is in active for the entire “network.”

HOW do I get ads to appear on those pages?

    8. What I primarily want in terms of ads is:

    A. a short banner ad, right aligned that sits in my header/banner ontop of the jpg banner artwork

    B. a long banner ad at the top of the content (above the page/post title would be best, but under it is ok.)

    C. one or two ads depending upon content size, right aligned in content. Could be square or vertical “smokestack” Or one ad in content and one long banner under content.

    D. an ad, or multiple small ads on the sidebar.

How can I accomplish A – D with AdSense Explosion?

    E. Ideally I would like to have different ads on each page, rather than the same one. Does this happen with AdSense Explosion?

Is there some sort of FAQ or instructions that explain how to accomplish the sorts of things I list in 1 – 8 above?

    Thanks.
