Great plugin —?thank you so much to the developers for providing this ultimately useful tool!

Is it possible to disable/hide/remove the “clone” option seen in the row actions when viewing the list of posts (/wp-admin/edit.php)?

Ideally, we want authors to be able to ONLY “clone to draft”, preventing duplicated posts from being automatically published.

We’ve attempted to hide this option using the Adminimize plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/adminimize/) but have been unsuccessful thus far in our attempts.

    Thanks!

    Hi!
It’s not possible at the moment, but I’m working on that part to fix a couple of bugs and add a feature, so I think I could add that one as well…

    I’ll keep you informed!

    Thanks for your appreciation!

looks like we got it sorted using Adminimize.

If anyone is looking for the answer…

In the Write Options – Post section, we added the following to “Your own options”:

slug: title this whatever you like. we used “duplicate post – clone button”
    custom slug: td.title.column-title.has-row-actions.column-primary.page-title > div.row-actions > span.clone > a

While this didn’t remove the divider between “clone | new draft”, it did remove the clone text and link, which was the main goal.
