    Hey,

First off, thanks for this amazing plugin!
However, I noticed that it disables admin bar for everyone except admins. Is this a bug or a feature? ??

    Thanks for the message.

The plugin shouldn’t affect the visibility of the admin bar for anyone, however there could be an unexpected error which is causing this to happen.

Which version of WordPress are you using?

Are there any fatal errors appearing in the source code or your php error logs?

Does the problem still happen work all your other plugins deactivated and one of the default themes activated?

I’m on the latest stable version – 4.7.2
The plugin is also of the latest version – 2.13.2
No errors in PHP error log either. Will check with all defaults shortly.

Not hijacking the thread, but also wanted to let you know that I also was experiencing this. We had a site running on VPS and migrated to a dedicated server. When the plugin was activated the admin bar disappeared. Latest stable version 4.7.2 and latest version of Query Monitor – 2.13.2

I deactivated all plugins except Query Monitor and reverted to 2017 theme and still experienced it. I looked into the wp error_log and found that PHP was exhausting all of its available memory. Increasing the memory limit to 128M fixed it for me.

Ok, I found the plugin that caused the problem.

    Apologies for false alarm ??

    Thanks for the follow-up, folks.

You’ll probably find that this problem isn’t actually being caused by one specific plugin, but rather it’s a combination of various plugins using up some memory.

A memory limit of less than 128M is quite low. I’d recommend bumping it up to 256M or 512M if you have it available.

    John
