Disabling and reactivating theme loses all settings

  • I was diagnosing an issue so temporarily I activated another theme. Didn’t change anything in site and reactivated this theme again (after like 2 minutes) but I noticed it was using default options. It’s like you just installed and activated this theme. All my menu and no. of products on home page etc. where default. What kind of theme is this which doesn’t keep its settings saved????
    Thanks God I had database backup otherwise I would have been screwed.

    Also, the issue might be raised due to the third-party plugin, so could you please verify the issue by deactivating the plugins one by one?
