Disabling Apache (.htaccess) redirect rule doesn’t remove from .htaccess

Hello,

With redirection entries you can Disable to turn them off, this works for standard redirects but if you have setup an Apache module it fails to disable the redirect as the RewriteRule in .htaccess is left. Upon disable can we remove those entries until they’re re-enabled?
