• I am using a static page as my home page and I can’t get the comments on the bottom of the page to go away.

Any idea how to do this?

  • I am also using a static page as my home page, but I want to remove all instances of ‘comments’ from the bottom of all pages.

Can this be done? If so, how?

I figured out that you just need to go to screen options at the top right while editing the page and check the comments box. Then you can turn the comments on or off for each specific page.

FYI, I found the Tempera support forum to be much easier to find answers for this theme than this worpress.org forum. It’s searchable and has a lot of answers to simple questions like this.

    Here’s the address:

    Thanks for the forum link.

Thank you TaoJ for screen options tip and link to tempera how to.

easy to remove comments but it is hidden more often than note.

click on all pages, select quick edit on a page at a time, just uncheck comments.

I’ve tried this using multiples at a time, but sometimes it does not agree with me. so I just hit it one a time when that fails. this removed the leave a reply text at the bottom of the pages you want it gone from.
