How do I disable the GA4 tracking code in MonsterInsights? I use GTM already. Also, I prefer not to edit code to turn off MonsterInsights tracking code. I just want to use MonsterInsights for the reporting features.

    Hi @tobyfoote

    Thanks for reaching out.

MonsterInsights doesn’t have a built-in way to disable tracking, I’m sorry about that! But I understand that having this capacity would be useful.

In this case, you’ll need to use a custom snippet to achieve this: https://a.supportally.com/Lhrn8g

Please keep in mind this will disable all MonsterInsights tracking features added to the usual Google Analytics code, and you’ll still need to connect to your Google Analytics with MonsterInsights to use the dashboard reports.

Custom snippets like this are outside of our support scope. If you’re looking for extra customization, or if this code snippet is not quite what you have in mind, then here’s a great resource for finding an experienced WordPress developer to help out: https://www.wpbeginner.com/showcase/best-places-to-hire-wordpress-developers/

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!
