You have to edit the plugin and add code in order to detect if it’s mobile version and don’t let the plugin to run.

    Thanks !
What would be the code the add ? ??

Because iOS (and I suppose Android too) gives the user the possibility to tap on the top of the address bar to quickly go back to the top of the page, I’d like to be able to hide/disable the plugin on smartphones and tablets.

Can you do that ? It would be really great. Thank you in advance ! ??

There is now an option to exclude mobile devices from showing the scroll up option! Go update to version 0.7 and enjoy!

A review would be really appreciated.

Hi, thanks for adding the option so quickly ! It’s a little bit buggy though, sometimes the button shows on my iPad/iPhone, sometimes not. It’s a bit strange.
I’ll drop a review, you deserve it. ??

    Thank you sir!

Could you give me some more information regarding this bug? When does this occur?

I don’t really know, it’s a bit random. On Safari iOS (which is always in private mode), sometimes the button shows up, sometimes not. Maybe it’s linked with the caches my website automatically deletes from time to time. If it happens again, I’ll look into what I’ve done or what happened on my website.

That said, it’s working now, maybe it was just a small glitch at the beginning. ??

EDIT : just when I say that, I try again and the pill appears on my iPhone 4. And I didn’t do anything on my website in the mean time. Soooooo, there is something I really don’t understand. ??

I will take a look at this. Thank you for the feedback.

Could you please update to 0.7.1 and check if problem is solved now?

Updated but it’s not better. On my iPhone and iPad, as well as on several smartphone simulators on the web and also on the iOS simulator on my Mac, the pill is showing up. I’ll uninstall and reinstall the plugin.
    But it’s really strange.
Did you use the screen size to detect if the pill has to show up ? Or another parameter ?
Look on my website, I’ve updated to 0.7.1, emptied the caches…

Did you set “Show in mobile devices” to “No” in the feature in Scroll Up options page?

    Yes of course. ??

That’s strange.. I’m testing locally in my site, and it’s working as expected.. Could you send me an email to kouratoras[at]gmail[dot] and give me admin access to your dashboard, in order to check out the issue? I promise not to break anything ??

Well… I’m not comfortable with this kind of solution. :-/

Go to settings page, click “Save Changes” and check again.

If not, attach here a screenshot with your Scroll Up options.

    Done, and here’s the screenshot.
